Welcome!

We are very happy to announce that, after a one-year hiatus, the Annual Church Service is back! We will be gathering on Sunday, September 26 at 2:00 pm. Join us to learn more about the history of the church, celebrate the faith of our ancestors, and reconnect in fellowship.

The Vernon Reformed Presbyterian Church was built in 1852 by a group of Scotch-Irish settlers, followers of the Covenanter branch of Presbyterianism. Regular services ended in 1930; since then, the building, grounds, and adjacent cemetery have been maintained by descendants of the church members. The church is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
